NURDE is made by LFJC LLC, an independent company based in California. It isn’t backed by a hospital system or a test-prep giant. It is an indie project shaped by nursing practice — by the questions nurses actually get asked at the bedside and on the boards, and by the plain frustration of juggling a shelf of half-overlapping apps to answer them.

That independence is the point. There is no sponsor to please and no upsell buried in the content. The measure that matters is whether a nurse opens the app on a real shift, finds the card they need, and trusts us enough to keep it on their phone after they pass.

Every reference card and practice question in NURDE is written for the app by LFJC LLC and compiled from general nursing and clinical-education sources. We organize it the way nursing actually works — by specialty, tab, and urgency — and we revise it continuously, as we catch issues and as guidance changes. When a reader flags something that reads wrong, that is a signal we act on, not noise we ignore.

Here is the part a lot of apps won’t say plainly: this content has not been reviewed by licensed clinicians for use in patient care. That isn’t a detail we’re hiding — it is the reason NURDE is an educational and reference tool and nothing more. It is built to help you study and to jog your memory for a quick lookup. It does not make a clinical call for you. Before you act on anything you find here, confirm it against your facility’s approved resources and a current, authoritative source.

NURDE goes deep today in critical care, emergency and trauma, ICU, cardiac, neuro, pulmonary, GI, labs and diagnostics, drips and IV push, and more. Obstetrics, pediatrics, and psychiatric–mental–health coverage is thinner right now and on the roadmap.

We’d rather tell you that than pretend the whole exam blueprint is covered to the same depth. As those areas fill in, they ship the same way everything else did — card by card, question by question.

NURDE does not collect protected health information (PHI). There is nowhere to enter a patient’s name, and nothing about a patient leaves your device — because none is collected in the first place.

An account stores only what it needs to sync your studying: your email, your name, your role, and your practice progress. Your notes and favorites stay on your device. Your study progress follows you across devices with one free account — and that’s the extent of it.
